SPSS Installation Instructions

Windows Installation:

1.   Download the installation for Windows for the softwarecatalog.brown.edu page
2.   Right-Mouse Click on the newly downloaded installer and select "Run as Administrator"
3.   Click "Yes" when prompted to "allow this app" to install
4.   Click "Start" to begin the SPSS installation and wait until it completes.
5.   You will now see a new icon on your desktop called "IBM SPSS Statistics"

When you first launch SPSS you are presented with the License Activation Wizard.  Further instructions can be found below on how to activate and license your SPSS Software:

Step-by-steps on how to activate SPSS by using either Single User License or Concurrent Use License

macOS Installation:

1. Download and run the SPSS  installer for macOS.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions in the installer and accept all default install options.
3. When the installation is complete, launch SPSS from the "/Applications/IBM SPSS Statistics" folder.
