As part of OIT's migration of Departmental File Services in March 2025, OIT is discontinuing our Webfiles.brown.edu service (also known as Fileway). Webfiles provided a mode to access Departmental Shared Files via a web connection, so you could upload and download as needed.

As of March 24, 2025, you can now access your Departmental Shared Files via a web connection to Brown's MyApps service. MyApps gives you access to a virtual computer over the web, and you’ll be able to get to your files, edit them live, or copy them as needed.

You can use MyApps from a web connection on a variety of devices, and don't need VPN to use the service. See go.brown.edu/myappshelp for instructions on getting connected.
