To transfer a connected call, first press the Transfer softkey, you may need to press the More softkey first. The call will be placed on hold. Then dial the transfer recipient’s number. 

To complete the transfer without talking to the recipient, press the Transfer softkey again and then hang up.

Or, wait for the recipient to answer, announce the call, and then press the Transfer softkey to complete the transfer.
