Exporting content from an existing Confluence Wiki site

Log in to your wiki space: wiki.brown.edu/

A typical wiki will have a left-hand navigation.

It may look either:

compressed
  or expanded

Make sure you are seeing the expanded version by selecting the double  arrows

Once in the expanded version, click on "Space tools"

then choose "Content tools"

After the page refreshes, you'll see a number of tabs

  • Click on the "Export" tab
  • You'll see three options for exporting your site: HTML, XML and PDF (if you are planning to import to Gitbook then choose 'HTML,' and refer to our Gitbook migration article for more specific instructions.)
  • Each has different results shown below
