Elevated Access for Undergraduate TA in Canvas

Authors list

Typically, Undergraduate TAs (UTAs) are granted “edit only” access in Canvas which includes the ability to add/edit/ delete course files, assignments, discussions, etc. In some cases, however, instructors may also require that their UTAs have access to Speegrader as part of their course responsibilities. As this level of access is an exception to Brown's policy, primary course instructors must request this elevated access from the DLD (dld@brown.edu).

The DLD requires instructors to fill out this form and agree to policy guidelines. Once the form is submitted, the process of making the requested access changes can proceed.
