Request a Software Change in a Computing Lab

Software changes occur twice per year in the CIS public computing labs and classrooms prior to the start of summer session and Spring semester. Solicitation for software change requests occur every March and September and are due by mid-April and mid-October. Only critical and security updates are made during the semesters. No other software changes are made outside of this schedule.

To submit a request:

  1. Faculty - contact the CIS Instructional Technology Group (ITG),
  2. All others - email

Submitted software must pass licensing requirements. Additionally, we cannot guarantee the software will work on the CIS public computing labs' configuration. Please note that if the submitted software conflicts with the existing configuration, we will be unable to add it.
